A Tumblr Page Recreates Indian Gods Clicking Selfies
Selfies are all the rage for a while now. So much so that they are making news for even the wrong reasons viz., taking lives! Adrita Das, a 24-year-old designer working in Pune, has desgined a Tumblr blog featuring ancient Indian and other traditions and given them cameras and selfie sticks because well, why not! Now, before you get all riled up and decide to flex your religious muscles, let us assure you there is nothing offensive in Das’ intentions. Her re-imagined images and GIFs are light-hearted thoughts on the old age that can perhaps give us pause in the current time on what constitutes as selfie addiction.
